Bio: Mr. Cosgrove is a Research Analyst at The Institute. His role primarily involves managing and analyzing data in support of a Statewide evaluation of evidence-based practices as an alternative to out-of-home placement. He has experience doing field work as an Assistant Research Scientist at the New York State Office of Mental Health, and as a Transitional Liaison with the Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau’s Functional Family Therapy aftercare services program. During the fall of 2012, he transitioned onto the CHIPRA evaluation project, on which he manages data to help monitor Care Management Entity services in Maryland. He received his Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service in 2011 with a concentration in research.
