Bio: Ms. Mettrick is the Director of Implementation Services at The Institute, where she provides technical assistance (TA) and training related to Evidence Based Practice (EBP) implementation and Implementation Science frameworks and principals. This includes training and TA related to EBP and promising practice selection, program consultation, community/organizational readiness, initial program implementation, continuous quality improvement, scale-up, sustainability, and stakeholder facilitation. Ms. Mettrick is currently providing TA and training for several national EBP implementation initiatives and was the EBP implementation specialist for Maryland’s Children’s Cabinet for five years, where she supported the ongoing implementation of statewide EBP programs such as Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC), and Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT). Ms. Mettrick graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and went on to receive a master’s degree in Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health. Ms. Mettrick also earned an additional master’s degree in clinical psychology from Loyola University.
